No Compromise: Styled Product Photography
Ah, the deep and colorful world of gaming – a whole universe to get lost in. We love experiencing new games, seeing different universes and characters, and immersing ourselves in a fantasy world. In 2021, we were approached by a maker of gaming computers. Their target demographic was teenagers who loved gaming – their computers are colorful, bright, with powerful processors. They were looking for a photography team that could show all the fine details of the computer, and add light and glow to the image. They had worked with another team before but were not satisfied with the results. Our team was definitely up to the task.
Nashbox Studios was ideated in Nashville. We recently expanded our services for product photography in Vancouver, in Canada by hiring a local crew and creating our own creative team. We are also an animation company in Vancouver.

We organized a shoot to capture these computers, with lighting and special effects to make them look more dramatic and colorful. To capture these images, we had to remove the glass from the computers. Want to know a little secret? We removed the glass from the computers, to avoid glare and added them back in post-production – along with the reflection. We used light wands to create the background colours as well.
This shoot was a day and a half long, in Nashville Tennessee.
Lighting objects like this is no small feat. Some photographers understand how to light basic objects, such as items with a matte finish, but other products can be more challenging. For instance, shiny surfaces or glass may be tricky to get right. We are specialized in this exact department – we’ve dedicated a great deal of time to learn this inside out.
