AMEX: Corporate Headshots, Event Video Production & Event Photography

American Express Company (AMEX) is an American multinational financial services corporation that specializes in payment cards. Headquartered in New York City, it is one of the most valuable companies in the world and one of the 30 components of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (source:wikipedia).

 
 

The Problem

In Q1 2023, American Express was hosting it’s annual Small Medium Enterprize conference in Music City aka Nashville. Given the scale of the event and number of attendees, they needed a reliable content production partner that can help with event video production, business headshots for the attendees, event photography as well as event audio/visual support.

AMEX’s partner agency Shiraz creative contacted several Nashville video production studios, but were unable to find a team willing to pick up a project of this scale.

 
 

The Solution

Upon searching on Google, Shiraz was able to connect with Nashbox. There are several companies that offer event photography in Nashville, but we offer a white glove service that is second to none. As one of the premier Nashville headshot photography studios, we are often recruited by global brands for our professional services.

Right at the onset, our biggest challenge was getting a team of creatives together, bringing them all on one page in terms of the quality and consistency of deliverables and ensuring a higher than usual standard of service. The project was led by our lead producer Dana, and was executed very well. The team ensured clear communication with the client at every step, made sure all the clients are extremely pleased with the results and received much well deserved praise.

The Results

Thanks to a coordinated effort, we were able to achieve the splendid results mentioned below.

  • Professional Headshot photography appears to be an easy assignment. However, it takes a lot of skill and effort to make a person appear the best possible version of themselves. We had 4 headshot photography setups managed by a team of 8 persons that ensured a seamless experience for the 1000+ attendees at the conference. 

  • Out event photography and video team comprised of 5 team members had to cover over 50K square feet of event space involving different conference rooms at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, and the event space at the Wild Horse Salon in downtown.

  • Overall, the team delivered 500+ business portraits, 2 videos, 20+ social media clips and 1000+ event photographs!

  • Such a large setup requires a lot of equipment, gear and food! The production team led by our very capable producer Dana did a fabulous job coordinating the event such that both the client and the team members were in awe of our managerial prowess!
