SIMS: Interactive Presentation, Industrial Video & Photography
Sims Lifecycle Services (SLS) division provides global IT asset disposal (ITAD) services and electronics recycling to enterprises and data centers, with established operations in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, North America, the Asia-Pacific region and Africa.
At Nashbox Studios we specialize in animation, photography and video for companies in the industrial, manufacturing and consumer goods sectors.
The Problem
SIMS exhibits at multiple trade shows every year, in North America, Europe as well as Asia. While they utilize industrial video and photography extensively in their campaigns, they felt the need to be able have some content that is visually engaging and also interactive. With this in mind, SIMS connected with Nashbox Studios to create photo and video content that would meet these requirement.
The Solution
We planned and executed a day long industrial video and photography session at their location in Frankin, a suburb of Nashville Tennessee to achieve the following:
Overview of the facility.
The process of recycle and reuse of the components of various servers, including the use of robotics in the process.
A library of photographs and videos that can be used for future presentations, trade shows as well as on the website and social media.
A touch enabled presentation that can be deployed on a screen at the trade shows.
The Results
In all, seven Nashbox team members were involved in the project. We delivered a library of 400+ images and over 4 hours of video footage.
We created an interactive presentation using the platform Intuiface. The process involved learning the platform, and using our skill sets of graphics design, animation, copywriting and HTML & CSS coding.
For use in the presentation, we edited a sizzle reel, several short length explainer videos and some industrial photographs.

Trade Show Presentation
Note: The presentation was created in Intuiface, which has license-based restricted usage. Hence we have to use a screen recording to show our work, instead of an actual link.
The team made use of Generative AI extensively on this project. We used the AI in Adobe Photoshop to edit the still images as well as videos. Chat GPT was useful in creating HTML & CSS codes that were used to embed the various graphics and animations into the presentation.
