The Problem
Manufacturing companies like SteelStack tend to miss out on a sizable content marketing opportunity. Often the shop floor is considered a 'dirty and greasy' environment, something that companies prefer not to showcase. It is not a space for traditional media production - no hair and makeup artist, no wardrobe stylist. It is a space, often filled with gigantic overhead cranes hauling tons of product, and hydraulic presses making loud sounds as dies press together, and welding operations with sparks flying everywhere. Many times, you can bring a limited amount of equipment to the factory. There is limited time available so that production is not impacted.
Most creative teams are unaware of how to safely work in such environments. But if done right, an organizations manufacturing operations can be the showpiece of it's marketing strategy.
The Solution
In Nashville video production coupled with industrial 3D animation can effectively communicate the features and benefits of a product to the viewer. With this in mind, SteelStack contacted Nashbox Studios to create assets for their new product. At Nashbox Studios, we are adept at industrial shoots. The factory environment is our comfort zone and we were able to produce quality content for SteelStack.
The shoot involved 5 Nashbox team members and was for one full day. The results in achieved in just a day of shoot were substantial. From planning to delivery, the project lasted 4 weeks.
The Results
We were able to provide SteelStack with a master video along with 12 social media clips and several hundred still images. These assets greatly improved the company’s online presence and aided their marketing efforts.
