Vudarri Cosmetcs: Product Renderings & 3D Animation

Using product rendering technology we can create creative content without having to wait for products to be manufactured. With this in mind, Vudarri contracted Nashbox Studios to create assets for their new product, the Vudarri Hydrate & Refine Face Serunm. The project included creating a product animation and several still images.

At Nashbox Studios, we offer a unique solution to client's product photography needs. We use CAD & computer graphics - instead of (or along with) cameras - to create photorealistic digital renderings for your products. We provide 3D product renderings services in Nashville TN and Vancouver BC Canada.

The client’s requirement for this project was depiction of a premium brand with a bright, and organic feel. We used product rendering for the project as the product was yet to be manufactured. The product is a face serum.

This project was interesting in that we were involved in the container and packaging design to some extent. The team had interactions with the packaging design team, made suggestions with regards to form/fit/function, colors, fonts etc. Additionally, the client had a strong mood board and theme researched, and was able to provide good creative direction, but still let the Nashbox team work independently.

  • While the company develops it’s own products, container was off the shelf. This provided a head start to our 3D modeling team in Nashville and they could move on to the product renderings and animation stage. For the outer carton, we were able to get CAD data from the manufacturer.

  • This is a brand new product and they needed visual assets to create a ‘marketing buzz’.

  • They have found it beneficial to show their clients the intricate workings of their products. In this case, 3D animation of the products can help, as shown by the video of the product.

The project involved interviewing the owner (who is also their lead product designer) to understand details of the product, her vision for how the imagery should be and make the viewer feel.
